Who we are
Maxy is a product of Rubytech LLC. When this policy refers to "we", "us", or "our", it means Rubytech LLC, acting as the data controller for any personal data processed in connection with this marketing site. If you have any questions or requests, contact us at maxy@rubytech.llc.
What this site collects - and what it does not
This is a static marketing site. It does not use cookies, analytics scripts, or any tracking technology. No user data is stored on Rubytech servers simply because you visited.
The only personal data we collect directly is what you choose to send us. If you email maxy@rubytech.llc to enquire or get started, we receive your name, email address, and the content of your message. That is the full extent of direct collection from this site.
This site does load fonts from Google Fonts, a service operated by Google. When your browser fetches a font file from Google's servers, Google may log standard request information such as your IP address. That logging is governed by Google's own privacy policy; Rubytech does not receive or control that data.
Cloudflare acts as the content delivery network and edge security layer in front of this site. As part of routing and protecting requests, Cloudflare processes standard request metadata - including IP address and browser user-agent string - according to Cloudflare's privacy policy.
How we use enquiry data
We use the information you send us to:
- respond to your enquiry;
- scope and agree the work with you;
- issue invoices and process payment; and
- deliver and support the service.
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it with third parties except as described in this policy.
Sub-processors relevant to the Maxy service
When Rubytech sets up a Maxy instance for a customer, the following third-party providers are involved in delivering that service. This section applies to customers, not to general visitors to this marketing site.
Cloudflare - used to create a secure remote-access tunnel to the customer's server. Cloudflare handles the routing of connections.
Hetzner Online GmbH - the customer's Maxy instance runs on a cloud server that the customer provisions directly with Hetzner. The server, and all data stored on it, sits in the customer's own Hetzner account and is under the customer's control. Rubytech does not host or have ongoing access to that server. The customer's data resides on their own private infrastructure, not on Rubytech systems.
Anthropic - the AI assistant that powers Maxy is Claude, Anthropic's model. Customers use Claude under their own Claude subscription, governed by Anthropic's privacy policy and terms.
Your rights
If you are based in the United Kingdom or the European Union, you have rights over your personal data under UK GDPR and GDPR respectively. These include the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- rectify any data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- erasure of your data where there is no longer a legitimate basis for us to hold it;
- object to us processing your data in certain circumstances.
To exercise any of these rights, email maxy@rubytech.llc. We will respond without undue delay.
Data retention
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as it is reasonably needed to support the business relationship - for example, to answer follow-up questions, fulfil a contract, or handle any disputes. Once the relationship has ended and there is no further legitimate reason to retain the data, we delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date. We encourage you to check this page periodically.
